    Sustainability & Certifications

Are your products really sustainable?

Absolutely! We're committed to environmental responsibility:

  • Organic cotton certified under GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard)

  • Recycled materials in our scrunchies (91% recycled polyester from manufacturing waste)

  • Print-on-demand production reduces overproduction and waste

  • Sustainable packaging using minimal, recyclable materials

What do GOTS and OCS certifications mean?

  • GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): Ensures organic fibres meet environmental and social criteria throughout the supply chain

  • OCS (Organic Content Standard): Verifies the organic content of products and tracks it from source to final product

Why does it take longer to receive my order?

We use print-on-demand production, meaning each item is made especially for you after you place your order. This approach:

  • Reduces overproduction and waste

  • Ensures fresher, higher-quality products

  • Supports sustainable manufacturing practices

  • Typically adds 3-7 business days to production time

Social Impact & Donations

How does my purchase help families in Brazil?

Every purchase directly supports CASA’s mission to provide food hampers to families experiencing food insecurity in Brazil.  The profits from all product sales are converted into donations that purchase essential food items for families in need.

Do product purchases come with a tax-deductible donation receipt?

Only donations made through our digital donation vouchers (such as the Gift Families in Brazil options) are eligible for a tax-deductible donation receipt. These vouchers are considered direct charitable contributions under CASA’s DGR status.

You will receive your donation receipt by email within 60 business days of your donation being processed.

Purchases of physical products are not tax-deductible and do not include a donation receipt, even though profits help fund CASA’s community programs.

Can I track the impact of my purchase?

Yes! We believe in complete transparency. Follow our social media channels where we regularly share:

  • Live deliveries of food hampers

  • Updates on families helped

  • Photos and stories from our partner organisations in Brazil

  • Total impact numbers from the campaign

What does "Amor" mean?

"Amor" means "love" in Portuguese. This collection represents the love and connection between two countries united in helping families in need. It's about spreading love through conscious choices and sustainable living.
