Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website acasa.org.au, participation in our programs and purchases made through the CASA Store. By accessing or using the website, making a donation or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

 ABN 69 662 792 323

Address: 47 Coolibah Ct, Tallai QLD 4228, Australia

 Email: admin@wearecasa.org.au

 Website: acasa.org.au

CASA is a registered Australian charity and holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

2. Website use

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit their use of the site.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems

  • Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code

  • Use the website to send spam or unsolicited messages

  • Copy, reproduce or exploit any part of the website content without permission

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been breached.

3. Donations

3.1 General

  • Donations of $2 or more are generally tax-deductible in Australia.

  • Donations are processed securely through Raisely and payment providers such as Stripe.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is correct so that receipts and confirmations can be sent to you.

3.2 Receipts

Donation receipts are issued by email to the address you provide when you donate. If you do not receive a receipt, please contact us at admin@wearecasa.org.au

3.3 Refunds of donations

As a charity, CASA relies on donations to fund its work. Donations are normally non-refundable. However, if you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly and we will review the situation in line with our legal obligations and internal policies.

3.4 Donation vouchers

From time to time you may be able to add a "donation voucher" or similar virtual gift to your order. The donation component of these vouchers is treated as a charitable donation and is managed in the same way as direct donations. Only the donation portion, not the value of any physical products, may be tax-deductible.

4. CASA Store purchases

CASA operates an online store where you can purchase products that support our mission. Items are produced and fulfilled on demand through Printful.

4.1 Product information

We aim to describe products accurately, including materials, sizes and estimated delivery times. Small variations in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings and print processes.

4.2 Pricing, GST and currency

  • Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD).

  • CASA is registered for GST, and GST is applied at checkout where applicable.

  • We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.

4.3 Orders and payment

By placing an order you are offering to purchase products in line with these Terms. CASA reserves the right to accept or reject any order, for example if a product is unavailable or there is an error in the price or description.

Payment is processed at the time you place your order, through Stripe or other payment methods made available at checkout.

4.4 Production and shipping

  • Products are printed or produced after you place your order.

  • Estimated production and delivery times are listed on each product page but are not guaranteed. Delays can occur.

  • Items in the same order may be shipped separately, as they may come from different fulfilment locations.

  • Shipping is handled by Printful and its logistics partners.

4.5 Order changes and cancellations

Because products are made to order, changes are only possible for a short period.

  • You may request cancellation or changes within 24 hours of placing your order.

  • After production has started, we normally cannot cancel or change the order.

Please contact marketing@wearecasa.org.au as soon as possible if you need to request a change.

4.6 Returns and refunds for products

Due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selection or normal wear and tear.

We will work with you to resolve issues where:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item has a manufacturing defect

  • The wrong item or size was sent

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide photos of the issue. If approved, we may offer a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

5. Social impact of purchases

Profits from CASA Store sales help fund our programs, including food relief and community initiatives in Brazil and Australia. Many product pages state an approximate contribution amount per item. These amounts are indicative and may change due to exchange rates, production costs or other factors, but our intention is always to direct profits to CASA's mission.

6. User content

If you submit content to us, such as testimonials, reviews or photos, you grant CASA a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and share that content for promotional and reporting purposes, unless you clearly state otherwise at the time of submission.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you provide does not infringe the rights of others.

7. External services and links

The website may contain links to third-party websites and services for convenience. CASA does not control or endorse these external sites and is not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.

Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • CASA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, donations or purchases.

  • CASA is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as postal delays, supply chain issues or technical faults.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights relating to faulty goods.

9. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. By using the website, you consent to our handling of your data in line with that Policy.
